The event is organized as part of the project of Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology of the European Commission (DG Connect) – “Raising Awareness of Copyright in Cultural Heritage, Education, and Research Institutions”.
The goal of the project is to improve overall understanding of copyright regulations by promoting knowledge of the EU copyright legal framework and its practical application — especially in cultural heritage institutions, research organizations, and educational establishments.
Launched in January, the project will host 10 events across 10 EU countries. The first one was held in Latvia, and the second is scheduled to take place in Poland.
The event is organized in cooperation with the Centrum Cyfrowe.
