Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation has become a content partner of the Open Eyes Economy Summit
Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation has become a content partner of the Open Eyes Economy Summit. On November 21st and 22nd, 2023, at ICE Krakow and online, we will discuss social energy, artificial intelligence, energy transformation, and the situation of local governments.
OEES – social energy generator – that’s the theme of the eighth edition of the International Congress of Economy and Value, Open Eyes Economy Summit. As a content partner of the Congress, we are delighted that it is the social energy that has been placed at the well-deserved center of this year’s deliberations. We resonate strongly with a statement “social energy arises between people (…). To strengthen and sustain various forms of civic activity and self-governance, it is crucial to recognize that this energy must flow from the bottom – from people as a result of their activity.”
The Congress will take place on November 21st and 22nd, 2023, at ICE Krakow and online.
➡️ The program and registration are already available on the website www.kongres.oees.pl

Special session How Does Culture Release Social Energy
On Wednesday, November 22nd at 4:00 PM, we particularly invite you to a session organized by Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation and Cracow University of Economics. We will discuss how culture, through active participation and co-creation of common works, can generate social energy and fulfill its social potential.
Community participation in processes, co-creation, trust, openness and inclusiveness are increasingly common keywords supporting the development of a credible and socially significant cultural institution. Such a non-market approach, because it is not based on a transaction but on a relationship and the implementation of a public mission, is also closely related to the idea of commons – co-produced common goods. This idea is based on community involvement, mutual trust, developed relationships and exchange of knowledge and experiences for the greater good. Social energy is an indispensable element of development and is the main driver leading to long-term effects.
The aim of the panel is to analyze how, using the example of active participation and co-production of collective works, culture can generate social energy and realize its social potential. And how institutions can face the main challenge – using and implementing this value into their long-term operating models.
