HERIFORGE’s first Open Call is now on!
We are pleased to announce the launch of the HERIFORGE project's first Open Call! We invite creative minds to harness immersive technologies for the benefit of cultural heritage.
We are looking for innovative projects that combine technology and culture in exciting and socially impactful ways. We are calling on small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, non-governmental organizations (foundations or associations), and natural persons established in Cyprus, Poland, or Turkiye or those established in EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries demonstrating a local footprint in those countries.
What are we offering?
- Up to €50,000 in funding,
- Tailored mentoring from top experts in immersive tech, heritage, and business,
- A chance to shape the future of how we preserve and engage with culture!
What are we looking for?
This call will select and support up to 6 proposals to develop technical solutions in the use of immersive technologies for cultural heritage, which address specific Challenges defined by the HERIFORGE Hubs:
- Cyprus HERIFORGE Hub Challenge: Collaborative XR Experiences for Innovation in Cultural Heritage
- Poland HERIFORGE Hub Challenge: Unlocking Interactive Stories: XR storytelling and gamification tools for cultural heritage
- Turkiye HERIFORGE Hub Challenge 1: Reimagining Historical Rituals: Volumetric Intangible Heritage for XR
- Turkiye HERIFORGE Hub Challenge 2: Crafted Realities: Modular Immersive Heritage for Multi-Surface XR Spaces
We are looking for technical solutions – y0ur application must clearly describe how the proposed innovation advances beyond the current state-of-the-art and provides a compelling solution to the challenge identified by the Hubs. The solutions can be e.g. software applications, artistic/museum installations, data interoperability systems, information, management such as automation, integration, etc.
Whether you’re working with AR/VR, XR, gamification, or other immersive tools, HERIFORGE wants to hear your ideas!
